Tracks 1, 2 and 5-13 are from the recording sessions from the early 1970's to Soul Rebel. It looks like Bob didn't like these songs enough to put them on the album. But most of the tracks are fine and interesting. Sometimes they are not the typical reggae songs but music full of soul from the Motown era. A few other songs sound very funny, and it's clear why Bob did not put these songs on the album. The last three songs (tracks 14-16) are fantastic and powerful dub versions of these songs." "After the official Zimbabwean flag had been raised, the performance of Bob Marley & The Wailers was announced. The audience consisted of assembled dignitaries and media, including the international luminaries like Zimbabwe's first Prime Minister Robert Mugabe, Britain's Prince Charles and India's Indira Gandhi.

"The performance begun with 'Positive Vibration' and went on well with 'Them Belly Full' and 'Roots, Rock, Reggae'. The Zimbabwean crowd outside the stadium hearing Marley singing got angry and pressed against the stadium's gates. During 'I Shot The Sheriff', the police answered by firing tear gas. Marley and the band were escorted to safety. That's the point where the soundboard cuts.

"After some minutes Marley came back onstage and shouted 'Freedom!', while a crisp English voice from the other end of the stadium announced: 'Bob Marley, you have exactly two minutes left.' The band played 'War' which faded into 'No More Trouble'. Now running a quarter of an hour over their allotted two minutes, The Wailers performed 'Zimbabwe', with the entire audience joining in the chorus line. Then the concert was definitely cancelled.

"Therefore, this soundboard source is incomplete; it misses 'War/No More Trouble' and 'Zimbabwe'. But it is still a historical recording." GD+ SBD stereo. Hissy.

George Michael - Paris 1988 [no label 1CD Torrent: 74849] live in France, May 31, 1988. A Westwood One broadcast. "This is truly one of the very best George Michael bootlegs to ever surface. This was recorded during the height of his commericial success, on the wildly successful Faith Tour. George is at the very top of his game vocally, even hitting the high notes in "One More Try" with ease. "Hard Day" comes off much better here than it does on the record, making for an excellent lead-off track. The Stevie Wonder cover, "Love's In Need Of Love Today" is a song that suit's George's voice perfectly and he really shines on it. The hit duet with Aretha Franklin, "I Knew You We're Waiting" is performed solo here, and you really don't miss Aretha, George nails it on his own. "Careless Whisper" is milked to the extreme, with an extended saxaphone solo that really takes this epic to the next level. Deon Estus, bass player and backround vocalist is a standout on this recording, laying down a solid groove throughout the show. The 1996 unplugged shows are excellent, but this recording, with a full band is very, very special." - Ryan "Lil King"

Keiji Haino - Showboat 2005 [no label 3CD Torrent: 96920] live at Showboat, Koenji, Tokyo, Jan 8, 2005. "Here the man in black is captured solo in a lyrical mood. Complete solo show, 3 hours and 20 minutes in stellar sound quality. Starts out with an acoustic bouzoki performance (unamplified, Haino sitting on the stage floor), then moving on to flute, vocals, electronics, drum machines, guitar etc etc - often setting up some amazing loops to work with. It´s possibly my favourite Haino performance - some of this will send chills down your spine. Haino at his most beautiful." Ex AUD stereo. A DAT recording.

Keiji Haino + Yamamoto Seiichi - Namba Bears Club 2005 [no label 2CD Torrent: 55368] live at Namba Bears, Osaka, Japan, July 16, 2005. Haino Keiji (guitar, electronics, vocals) and Yamamoto Seiichi (guitar, drums). "Two sets (49:42 and 1:05:02, respectively), ranging from skronky noise to ass-shaking boogie. I had never heard Yamamoto play the drums before, but I'm hardly the hardest of the hardcore fans. Recorded on a TCD-D100 with Sound Professionals mics and dumped to disc by someone who's really new to this sort of thing, so apologies if it sounds sort of crappy." Ex- AUD stereo.

Kikuki (Keiji Haino & Merzbow) - Shinjuku Loft [no label 1CD Torrent: 96776] live at Loft, Shinjuku, Tokyo, July 2, 2004. "Kikuki is Keiji Haino and Merzbow, both playing electronics. This is the complete show, 47 mins. One long soundscape, so it comes as one track only. Recording is excellent." Ex AUD stereo.

Helmut Lachenmann - Birthday Concert 2005 [no label 1CD Torrent: 117527] live at Theaterhaus Pragsattel, Stuttgart, Germany, Nov 27, 2005. He was 70. "SWR 2 aired these two really great pieces of Helmut Lachenmann, one of my alltime favorites, on Nov 30, 2005. The recording has a very little, faint hiss. that's especially in "schreiben" not so welcome, because in the tradition of his "musique concrete instrumentale", Lachenmann lets the percussionist (and others) produce very quiet, rubbing and frictional noises - as if they were writing (="schreiben) on their drums etc." With SWR SInfonieorchester Baden-Baden & Freiburg, Hans Zender Ernesto Molinari, Klarinette (tk 2).
